What should I consider before installing Office 2016?
- This product can be installed on a single computer and, after activation, will remain activated forever.
- This product does not offer an upgrade option. If you plan to upgrade to the 2019 or 2021 version, you will need to purchase it.
- At the moment, we have the Home and Student edition and the Professional Plus edition. For the Home edition, it can be used for personal and educational use. For the Professional Plus edition, you can use it for business purposes. Keep in mind that if you use it for a company that receives Microsoft audits, we recommend contacting Microsoft offices to request information about Retail licenses and whether these licenses can pass an audit with them.
- This licence cannot be used on a Server running RDS CALs, as in this case, the only licences that will work are volume licences, a type of licence that we do not sell.
- This edition of Office works only on computers with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
- To install and activate this product, you will need to remove any edition of Office that is installed on the PC. This includes all new PCs, as they come with the trial edition of Office 365. To remove it, we recommend that you use the Microsoft support and recovery tool that checks your PC and verifies previous installations. Click on the following link to download the Microsoft tool.
