How to solve the error code 0-1018: Office 2016 installation stuck

There are several steps you can take to solve the error code 0-1018 and get your Office 2016 installation unstuck:

  1. Check your internet connection: Make sure you have a stable internet connection and that there are no issues with your network. A poor internet connection can cause the installation to fail or get stuck.
